There are thousands of stray cats in Istanbul, Turkey. It's a city some continue to refer to by its past name, Constantinople, or by its rightful pun name, Catstantinople.

But instead of letting these cats roam the cold city streets, Imam Mustafa Efe has decided to open his mosque to everyone. People, and small, fluffy things, included.

Imam Efe calls the cats "guests" of the mosque, and it appears they have made themselves quite at home.

The cats stretch out on the mosque's plush rugs. While many have yet to declare their religious affiliation, it's clear they've found home.
