This should make Pharrell Williams quite happy.

Clap along because Williams' Oscar-nominated "Happy" anthem from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack tops Twitter's rankings for most-tweeted songs of 2014, edging out John Legend's emotional "All of Me" and Nicki Minaj' pulsating "Anaconda."

Claiming the most spots -- with six songs on the 2014 list -- is One Direction, thanks to the band's rabid Directioners fan army.

To Twitter users, music is a conversation starter -- and it's also the most-discussed subject on the social network. Check out the full list of this year's 50 most-tweeted songs, which Twitter shared first with Mashable.
