Things aren't as rosy between NBC and YouTube as they were when the first video was released: NBC no longer has a YouTube channel and instead has posted the clip (embedded below) to its website. Except that licensing restrictions mean that you can only view that video in the US: cutting out most of the online audience. Where do you turn? Google, perhaps, where you'll find the top links going to a number of YouTube videos...all of which are currently being targeted in a game of whack-a-mole by NBC Universal.
The end result? Most of the audience can't legitimately access the video they want to see, and those international viewers who do find copies of the video elsewhere aren't being monetized by NBC. Sounds like a lose-lose.
