There's a sprawling ensemble comedy for every occasion -- almost, anyway. One of the calendar's few gaps will get filled in this spring with Garry Marshall's Mother's Day, which explores different mother-child relationships (or lack thereof) during that special time of year.

In the new movie, Marshall reunites with Pretty Woman muse Julia Roberts, who also starred in Marshall's holiday-themed Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. Roberts plays television host Miranda, who interviews divorcee Sandy (Jennifer Aniston, whose ex-husband is played by Timothy Olyphant), who meets single dad Bradley (Jason Sudeikis)... and so continue the random character connections. One of the most notable: Kate Hudson plays Jessie, who struggles with her relationship with her mom (Margo Martindale).

Will Jessie and her mom patch things up? Will Sandy become the mom that Bradley's daughter truly wants? Is Miranda secretly a mom? We may not care to know -- but we'll find out anyway.

Mother's Day releases April 29.
