Best Buy updated its website this weekend with details about Motorola's unreleased Moto 360 smartwatch, despite the manufacturer's efforts to keep the specs quiet ahead of its launch.

The device is expected to debut next month at a Motorola press event on September 4.

Best Buy removed the page from its website by Monday morning, one day after the details first appeared on BestBuy.com.

A Best Buy spokesperson confirmed to Mashable that the listing was inadvertently made public and was taken down once the mistake was noticed.

The page listed the device for $250 and is available in two color choices, silver and gray. Other details include a 1.5-inch backlit LCD display screen and voice-activation abilities. The watch will run on the Android Wear and work with other Android 4.3 and up mobile devices.

Motorola recently sent out invites to an event in Chicago, teasing the Moto 360's launch, as well as updates to its smartphone lines.

Motorola did not respond to requests for comment on the product's removal from Best Buy's site.
