Motorola Apologizes for Cyber Monday Mess, Adds Two More Days of Deals

Motorola's Cyber Monday deal, which offered a 16GB Moto X for $349 sans contract, did not go exactly as planned. Motorola's deal site experienced technical issues, rendering many customers unable to access it.

Now, Motorola has publicly apologized for the messed-up sale, promising to extend the offer to two more days: Wednesday, Dec. 4, and Monday, Dec. 9.

Furthermore, Motorola will double the quantity of phones available for the sale, which starts at 9 AM EST this Wednesday. The 30% off offer on accessories will also be valid on both Wednesday and Monday.

"On behalf of all Motorolans, I apologize for what occurred today. I appreciate your understanding as we get this fixed in time for Wednesday and Monday," wrote Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside, in a blog post.
