LOS ANGELES -- The front entrance of a San Francisco home that appears in Mrs. Doubtfire caught fire this week, and investigators doubt it was an accident.

Arson is suspected at the home that appeared in the 1993 film starring the late Robin Williams, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The paper reported that police and fire investigators were called to the home Monday after the homeowner, who told authorities that he smelled gasoline before discovering his front doormat on fire, doused the blaze. No one was hurt, but the Victorian home suffered minor damage to the front door and garage.

The home was the site of a makeshift memorial after Williams committed suicide last year.
