What do you with over 2,000 marbles, besides slip on them? Well, someone's used them to power a giant, wooden musical instrument.

This marvelous marble music machine was made by Martin Molin, of the Swedish band Wintergatan. A maze of tracks, twisting gears and pulley devices, the machine directs marbles to pour over a vibraphone to create a catchy and modern tune. The hand-made device also includes an accompanying kick drum and bass.

The Wintergatan Marble Machine has been in production for well over a year, with several updates from Molin detailing its creation. But after all the hard work, it's finally come to life.
