MyBucketSpace: Mashable Readers Approve

We now know that MySpace is buying Photobucket for hundreds of millions of dollars (prices being thrown out are in the $200-$300M range).

In our original post 3 hours ago, we took a poll to see what readers thought of the deal. The results are now in, and the majority seem to be in favor of the match up. However, it was a close run contest: a substantial number of people thought the two were "better off as enemies", and almost as many thought that MySpace should have just built their own Photobucket equivalent. Certainly, the implications of this deal are going to be discussed for a very long time.

The first thought that springs to mind: MySpace could and should have bought both Photobucket and YouTube before they ballooned in size.
