MyDamnChannel, an online production company launched by Hollywood veterans Rob Barnett, a former MTV executive, has penned a distribution deal with MySpace.

The production company will have a branded channel on MySpace TV, and will feature comedy shorts from the likes of Harry Shearer and David Wain. Beginning tomorrow, September 12, Andy Milonakis of MTV will be producing content for the channel on a weekly basis. A distribution solution on this level was planned for MyDamnChannel from the onset. It already has a YouTube -branded channel, and its own website, which features embeddable content from known comedians. The site aims to be a generous network geared specifically for distributing quality content from user-generated artists, offering them a 50/50 rev split. See initial coverage here.

MySpace is also a distribution partner for the Prom Queen sequel, "Summer Heat."
