MyQuire brought their new collaboration tool to DEMOfall to announce its readiness for the marketplace.

Part social networking and part collaboration tool, MyQuire lets you set up a page about yourself that makes it easy for everyone to see the progress of projects you are working on together. You can store your files directly so that all team members can get to them at any time and know they're working with the latest revisions. Communication should also not be a problem for anyone as there is a built-in messaging center, calendars and everything else you would come to expect from a collaboration tool.

Best of all, it seems there should be no real learning curve as you can work with tools you are already familiar with such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the site has a very standard set of social networking features. If you've worked with LinkedIn or Facebook, you should have no problem picking this up fairly quickly.  For a more in-depth explanation, you can look back at our coverage from a few months ago.
