Tom and Chris (his name should so be Jerry), the MySpace founders, have reached an agreement with News Corp. for the renewal of their contract. It was a bit shaky for a while there, after the two requested an insane amount of money ($12.5 million apiece, per year) for their salary over the next two years.

News Corp. wasn't offering more than $7.5 million each for the two-year contract, but in the end, we still don't know who won. Financial terms of the negotiated contracts were not disclosed. We just know that Tom and Chris are still around.

Now we may never know the effect of losing Tom as a friend.
