Imagelooop, you'll remember, is a European clone of the slideshow creation tool Slide.com.
Today they're announcing the debut of the "MySpace Slideshows widget" on Yahoo Widgets - built on the Imagelooop API, it allows you to drag and drop images to make photo slideshows on your desktop. They added the new widget to the gallery on December 19th, and they've seen around 1,500 downloads since then. Imagelooop already has a Yahoo Widget, created earlier this month, that lets you view and search for Imagelooop slideshows on your desktop and embed your favorites in your MySpace page.
Imagelooop announced €1M in funding in mid-December, and created a MySpace layouts API back in October that allows any MySpace layouts site add auto-posting of layouts and widgets to MySpace (rather than copying and pasting code). Rivals include some familiar players: Slide, RockYou, Photobucket and Imageshack.
