MySpace and Sony BMG in Music Video Licensing Deal

MySpace has signed a deal with Sony BMG to license music videos for the social networking site in exchange for a share of advertising revenue. Under the deal, MySpace users will be able to stream free music videos from Sony BMG artists via their respective profile pages.

Last month, Sony BMG inked a similar deal with Imeem, allowing Imeem users to stream music from Sony BMG artists in exchange for a share of the ad revenue.
