MySpace Comedy is coming up on its one year anniversary, the section of the social networking giant which has gained some 40,000 comedians from across the world. To celebrate, MySpace is partnering with Just for Laughs, a comedy festival in Montreal, from July 12-22, which is celebrating an anniversary of its own--25 years.
The social network will be sponsoring the festival's "New Faces and Masters" shows, which are set up to discover new comedic talent. Access to these shows is an exclusive part of MySpace's sponsorship. Videos from the festival will also be broadcast live as well. Starting today, MySpace will begin displaying 25 daily video clips from top comedians that have performed at past Just for Laughs festivals, including Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Drew Carey, Ray Romano and Jeff Foxworthy, among others, as part of the festivities surrounding Just For Laughs 25th anniversary.
