After a clip of an annoying, quacking rubber duck army went viral in late August, there were some skeptics. Surely the irritating sound of our soon-to-be overlords was modified. Do these ducks actually make this horrible noise?

Well, if there is anyone worthy of proving these ducks genuine it is definitely Adam Savage, one-half of the fact-checking show Myth Busters.

I felt a great disturbance in #TheForce, as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. https://t.co/IBUkDRS16G— Adam Savage (@donttrythis) September 9, 2015

"I felt a great disturbance in #TheForce, as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced," Savage wrote on Twitter.

"Oh, that's so awesome," Savage says in the video with joy after he summons the army of ducks, stopping briefly only to call them once again.

So there you have it, the terrifying sound these ducks produce is genuine.
