Warning: Don't read any further if you haven't yet watched the final of the Great British Bake Off (or if you don't yet know who the winner is).

LONDON -- It's probably a bit of an understatement to say that last night's episode of the Great British Bake Off got a bit emotional.

After Nadiya Hussain was crowned the winner of the competition during a final celebratory tea party -- attended by friends, family, and the show's other contestants -- everything basically descended into a one big mish-mash of hugs, speeches and a whole lot of tears.

First, Ian cried.

Then Tamal cried.

Nadiya cried a lot, and at one point Mary Berry even tenderly wiped her tears away.

Then Mary welled up herself.

But perhaps the thing that really got everyone going was Nadiya's final speech.

During her final interview, Nadiya gave a speech that summed up exactly how much she's grown in confidence during the course of the show.

"I'm never going to put boundaries on myself ever again," she said. "I'm never going to say 'I can't do it'. I'm never going to say 'maybe'. I'm never going to say 'I don't think I can'.

"I can and I will."

It wasn't just the people on TV crying, either.

Nadiya is easily the most universally loved reality television contestant of all time. What a woman. CRYING MY EYES OUT. #GBBO— IncrediblyRich (@IncrediblyRich) October 7, 2015

Oh Bake Off, why do you do it to us? And why do we have to wait a whole year until you're back on again?
