A large, bright fireball whizzed over a handful of northeastern states early Tuesday around 4:45 a.m. EST, and three NASA cameras caught it on film.
There were at least 30 eyewitness reports from people who saw the object overhead in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio, according to the American Meteor Society. The map below shows where the fireball was visible per those reports.
