Where Singers Botch the National Anthem Most [VIDEO]

Pre-game singers mangling the national anthem rank both among the most cringe-inducing and oddly entertaining traditions in American sports.

Sure, most of the time the anthem goes off without a hitch, but it's often the hiccups and mangled lines we remember most.

The sports site Deadspin recently took a tally of more than two dozen "Star-Spangled Banner" flubs to try to determine which lines trip performers up most. It seems as if two relatively unrecognized lines in the middle of the song hold the most dastardly potential for mistakes.
