March 23 is the greatest holiday of all -- National Puppy Day.

But the holiday hardly gets the respect it deserves. Why do people still have to go to work on National Puppy Day? It should be a day reserved for ogling the local canines at dog parks or staying in your pajamas to watch puppy videos all day.

Puppies have heads too big for their tiny bodies. Puppies haven't figured out they will slip and fall if they run too enthusiastically on a hardwood floor. Puppies look too fuzzy to possibly be real, and yet they are.

It's our duty to celebrate, even if that means replacing all of the holiday traditions we've grown to know and love. Priorities, people.
