Naymz, the online identity control service, is relaunching its site with more social features and additional tools for helping you improve and maintain your online reputation.
The purpose in doing so is to let you improve your online networking capabilities, for whatever reason. Whether you're hoping to meet more people on LinkedIn, or would simply like to have a place where your identity is authorized, Naymz will help you achieve these goals. So the new features included in the relaunch focus on community elements and user interaction, so that managing your online reputation can be helpful for you.
So as a Naymz user, you're now assigned a RepScore, which is a confidence index that is assigned by Naymz, based on three items: Community Verification, Profile Completeness, and Identity Verification. This score gives you a way to "prove" yourself, if you will, and allows other users to be assured of your identity. So what your public RepScore breaks down to is your Contact Networks and Reference Networks. Build up your reference network by claiming your own information on your profiles, and by having your friends vouch for you. This is similar to Google's PageRank system, in how credibility is determined and attributed.
