Know the feeling of playing a sports video game only to have one of your players stand still as a statue far from the ball, while randomly gazing off into the distance?
New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire did his best -- albeit inadvertent -- impression of the classic video-game glitch in real life on Tuesday night against the Detroit Pistons.

In the video, above, Stoudemire switches defensively on a pick-and-roll, but then inexplicably turns away from the ball and stares at the rim as if hypnotized. His man, of course, dribbles right past him to draw a foul.
The Knicks lost to Detroit, bringing their overall record this season to a paltry 3-7. Stoudemire's defensive fail at least brings some measure of comedy to the rough start. Silver linings, right?
