The Sacramento Kings staged a baby race during at a recent game. Straight up. Baby racing.

The video embedded atop this post contains said baby race and is quite likely the cutest 70 seconds of your day. There's drama too -- watch as one baby gets an enormous head start on the field, but screws around near the end and gets overtaken for the upset. Classic reminder not to celebrate before it's too early.

The winner then celebrated with a vigorous thumb-suck. Not even kidding.

Even better, a casting call for the diaper dandies sought to attract "the region's fastest toddlers." Hopefully other NBA teams adopt this sooner rather than later.

And hey, at least Kings ownership looks to be doing one thing right.
