Neil Young Unveils His iPod-Competitor Music Player

Neil Young recently appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman to unveil his new music player "Pono," a possible iPod competitor.

The Pono will set apart from the Apple iPod as it's intended to "present songs as they first sound during studio recording sessions" by converting digital music clips into high-resolution analog sound.

Pono has already attracted the three big record labels: Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music. Recently, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea had a listen to Pono and explained that, "It's not like some vague thing that you need dogs' ears to hear. It's a drastic difference."
