Netball is a feisty sport at the best of times, but these ladies have taken the competition up a notch.

A player for the Frankston Bombers in Melbourne, Australia got some extra defence height on the weekend by using her teammate's back as a stepping stone. The controversial move proved successful with the opponent's shot deflected by the goal keeper standing on top of her goal defender.

The trick, which drew applause from the audience, gives the defender a height advantage that is hard to match with a single human waving her arms in the air. It was allowed by the umpire despite being very creative, as the players took the required 3 ft in distance.
