Parents: No need to keep the kids up this New Year's Eve. Netflix has you covered.
The streaming network announced Monday that it is launching a whole new set of special kid-sized countdowns so parents can make anytime midnight on NYE.

According to an global survey conducted by Netflix, about 58% of parents said they "would jump at the chance to put their kids to bed before the clock strikes twelve on New Year’s Eve." (The Netflix study, which was conducted from Dec. 4-15 through SurveyMonkey Audience, surveyed 9,128 parents in the U.S., U.K., France, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Mexico.)
Netflix's data also found a whopping 97% of parents across the globe are spending New Year’s Eve as a family. Almost half of parents in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia said they’d count down the famous 10 seconds by 9 p.m.
About 41% of U.S. parents said they plan to use a special New Year’s Eve countdown as a way to get their kids to bed early.
After logging on to Netflix and typing in "New Year's Eve," parents can let their kids pick their favorite characters to ring in the new year. Countdowns feature:
