Netvibes, the front page creation service, has added some new features to its service.
For starters, there is now a new sidebar, which lets you log in, register, search for content and navigate Netvibes Universes. The downside of this new sidebar is that the quick links for easily adding modules to your Netvibes page have been collapsed. This makes it more difficult for a new user to easily see what modules they can add, and removes companies, such as Digg and Twitter, that are listed on the sidebar one step further from having immediate access to users.
In addition, the updated Podcast and mp3 player had volume adjustment within its Netvibes module, and the user interface has been improved for functionality purposes. For example, the "delete" button on tabs has been removed, to help prevent you from accidentally deleting a module. Other changes involve Netvibes performance, such as a faster load time (which isn't noticeable, really) and bug fixes.
