iGoogle, how we love thee, despite your humble appearance! From now on, this appearance can be freshened up with five new themes, some of which are actually quite nice. Like other iGoogle themes, they change depending on the time of day, except "Solar System", which changes daily.
The themes aren't actually publicly available yet, but with a bit of JavaScript trickery you can enable them. All you have to do is go to iGoogle and type one of the following in the address bar:

javascript:_dlsetp('preview_skin=skins/hongkong.xml');
javascript:_dlsetp('preview_skin=skins/jr.xml');

..and then choose "Select a Theme For This Tab" and click on "Save", but don't select any theme.
