The U.S. Treasury is planning to release a new $10 bill featuring a woman in 2020, and the government is looking for ideas to help select the lucky lady.

But the American Association of University Women has another idea.

The new $10 bill is meant to commemorate 100 years of women's suffrage in the United States under the 19th Amendment. And that's amazing. But AAUW's compelling new video illustrates something else: Women still only earn $0.78 for every dollar than men earn, regardless of whose face is on our bills. The lost potential income of American women is over $490 billion per year.
