The act of crossing a bridge is a terrifying experience, partly because of that creeping thought, "what if this thing just buckled under me right now?" For a group of French hikers, this possible nightmare became a reality.
Crossing over a river in New Zealand, the hikers were caught halfway across a bridge when it collapsed and hurtled the hikers into the water below. Luckily, they came out of the fall without injuries and -- in a silver lining moment -- video footage of the whole incident.
As a tip to future hikers who might face similar circumstances, the French hikers warn others to stay alert and make sure to cross the bridge one-by-one.
