Some think the standard pizza crust is a perfect construction; a delicious vessel and food all rolled into one. Others are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Pizza Hut, a fast-food company known for sticking unnecessary things on pizza, specifically crusts, has brought the world of food mashing to yet another level -- by putting tater tots on crusts.

The menu item, called the Hash Bites Crust, was a promotional item in New Zealand, according to the company's social media pages.

It appears to be exactly what you're thinking: Tater tots, (as American's prefer to call them) attached to a pizza crust. It is unfortunately, or fortunately, no longer available.

But don't you worry, weird crust lovers in New Zealand, the Hash Bites Crust has been replaced with a Cheese Burger Crust.

Americans, however, can enjoy a garlic knot crust instead.
