The NextUp NYC events series will showcase the latest social media trends, web technologies and startups, while also hosting discussions with prominent figures in the industry.

This will be Mashable’s first regular New York City series and events are open to all ages. The dates of the events are as follows:

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 - The State of the New York Blogosphere

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 - Lessons from the Local Internet Startup Community

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 (Internet Week NY) - Social Media Marketing 101

State of the New York Blogosphere

The first Mashable NextUp NYC will bring together the local blogging community to share lessons learned and give insights into the future of blogging. The night will comprise of networking, presentations from local bloggers and a closing keynote by Bryan Keefer, Director of Product for The Daily Beast.

Tickets: There are only 300 public tickets available per event. Tickets are on sale now through 92YTribeca, a non-profit organization. No further tickets will be released.

Pricing: $20 in advance, $25 at door

Food and drink: Full bar and food menu available

6:00 – 7:15 = Open Networking

7:15 – 8:15 = Opening Presentations

8:15 – 8:45 = Open Networking

8:45 – 9:30 = Closing Presentation

9:30 – Bar Close = Open Networking
