'Game of Thrones'-Inspired Running Paths Mapped Across U.S. Cities

It seems like every brand is trying to harness the popularity of HBO's Game of Thrones and use it to its own advantage. Piquing the interest of George R. R. Martin's fan following, Senior Designer Gene Lu created Run of Thrones -- running paths on Google Maps that are shaped like the family crests of the ruling houses in Game of Thrones.

It’s a fun concept and a new change for people who are bored of running their everyday routes. Users pick a sigil or family crest of their favorite GoT ruling house, then the sigil is plotted on Google Maps and the directions for the route is e-mailed to users.

It can be confusing to follow the maze-like Google Map's path, so you might have to double back and figure out your way early on -- that is, if you want a photo of a perfectly shaped House of Stark's family crest to share on Twitter or Facebook.
