Finally, humans and apes have become one.

In The Telegraph's picture of the day Feb. 26, photographer Cedric Favero has captured a gorilla doing what humans have done for hundreds of generations: picking noses and eating the findings.

First, the gorilla shoves his finger in his nose, looking around and hoping no one spots him in this potentially embarrassing position.

Then, he checks out what he's dug up.

"Looks pretty good," he probably thought to himself.

Finally, a tasty morsel was enjoyed by the nose-picking gorilla.

This proves that we are all one in this world. Even more so, it shows that we all -- humans and beasts -- have terrible manners.

Darwin would have been so proud of this discovery.
