Break out your big spoon, because Nutella celebrates its 50th anniversary on Monday.

To make the occasion even sweeter, it has collaborated with Cronut creator Dominque Ansel for a drool-worthy collaboration: Nutella-filled Cronut holes.

Complimentary samples of limited edition confections, along with several other tasty treats featuring the hazelnut spread, will be handed out to the first 1,000 lucky New Yorkers willing to stand in line on Monday, May 19, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET at the Broadway Pedestrian Plaza between 23rd and 24th Streets. Chef Ansel will be whipping up the delicious dessert himself, while supplies last.

The event kicks off Nutella's upcoming "Spread the Happy" Truck Tour, which will make stops in 16 cities across the country this summer.

We were able to sample some of the pastries ourselves, and unsurprisingly, they're just as good as they look.
