How's this for #NewYorkValues?

New York City is currently enduring a massive winter storm that's expected to dump up to 30 inches of snow on the city. Some subways were shut down, a travel ban has been put in place and residents have been urged to stay inside. Emergency vehicles, however, must continue to plow through the storm.

As of 5:20 p.m. ET on Saturday, multiple ambulances were stuck in heavy snow at various locations throughout the city. But before the city's sanitation department could come to their aid, at least a two ambulances and one police car received assistance from New York City residents who banded together in an attempt to free the emergency vehicles.

New Yorkers may not be known for being the nicest, but they're certainly not going to sit around and watch an ambulance stay stuck in the snow when it could be out helping those in need.
