The 2014 NYC Pride March took over the streets of Manhattan last Sunday, with more than 50 floats, thousands of participants and an estimated 1.7 million spectators.

But if you weren't among the crowd who made it to New York, you weren't left out. Mashable, with the support of NYC Pride and Google, hosted the first-ever PrideCast, a YouTube and Google+ Hangout livestream that brought you the celebration, interviews and much more.

LGBT advocates such as Edie Windsor, Orange Is the New Black's Laverne Cox and original Stonewall marcher Fred Sargeant, among other influencers, joined the PrideCast to discuss marches of years past and the ongoing efforts around the world for LGBT rights.
