Nate Silver's done it again.
The data guru (or "witch" as some believe) has taken a break from correctly predicting the next U.S. president and brought his magic to Thanksgiving.
Or so the president jokes.
During the annual White House Thanksgiving pardon ceremony, Obama quipped that Nate Silver (who also forecasted that Obama would win the election weeks ago) guessed which turkey -- Gobbler or Cobbler -- would win the race to be the next official National Thanksgiving Turkey of the free world.
"Once again Nate Silver nailed it," Obama said, before gesturing a cross over the turkey and completing the pardon. "The guy is amazing."
Really though, it was Facebook users who choose if Gobbler or Cobbler would be the next member of the first family. But we're pretty sure Nate Silver knew the answer all along, anyways.
And don't fret turkey lovers, neither turkey will actually be killed -- they'll both live happily ever after on a livestock enclosure at George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.
