Creepy photo series reimagines what happens to the phone-obsessed

We're probably all guilty of spending a little bit too much time wrapped up in our phones, tablets, laptops and televisions.

Screens have been integrated so much into our normal lives that it can be hard to actually put them down. However, a new photo series called "SUR-FAKE" from French artist Antoine Geiger may make you think twice before you reach for a smartphone.

His manipulated photographs show people so captivated in their tech that their faces are being sucked into their screens as the rest of the world continues on without them.

Creepy? Yes. But it's also a gentle reminder to put down your phone and enjoy the things around you every once in a while.
