For some people, the sight of Link riding Epona across Hyrule Field will always trigger a little wave of nostalgia.

And now Wii U owners can time travel back to 1998 and replay The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Wii U. The game is available through the Wii U's eShop as a download for $9.99.

Nintendo has only released a few Nintendo 64 titles onto the Wii U's eShop, though many more were available for its predecessor, the Wii. Nintendo only started releasing Nintendo 64 titles to the platform this year, including Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64 and Paper Mario.

This version of Ocarina of Time is a straight port. Nintendo has also released a graphically enhanced version with 3D support for the Nintendo 3DS handheld when it launched in America in 2011.
