We’re running into the final hours of Father’s Day 2008 here in the states, and while we shared with you last week a group of 20+ tools that we deemed helpful to making this Sunday super special, we’ve just come across a new service this afternoon that we’re quite eager to tell you a bit about.

The name’s Odadeo, it's presently in private beta mode, and it’s all about helping patriarchs of the world keep in touch with their children, get parenting tips from fellow dads, manage tasks and broadcast interesting news, and even build digital shrines blogs for their young, complete with photos and videos of memories.

Stef Lewandowski, one of the service’s founders, tipped us off to the availability of some invitations to give it a test run yourself. Whether you’re veteran of fatherhood or an outright newbie, Odadeo looks built to to help you make your father-son and father-daughter connections that much more Web 2.0-compliant. So head over to their homepage, put in your request, and give it a go. Be sure to share your thoughts with Mashable when you get in door!
