Ain't no party like an Internet party.
Odin Camus, a 13-year-old boy with Asperger's syndrome, gets bullied a lot at school. When he sent out invitations for his birthday party on Friday, no one RSVP'd.
That's when his mother, Melissa Camus, decided to take action by posting in a Facebook group for local moms in their hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. In her post, Camus talked about wanting to make Odin's birthday special for him. So, she planned the ultimate party: bowling, followed by poutine, plus cheesecake and presents.
Then, Camus' Facebook event for the party quickly went viral. Thousands of people on the Internet were so touched by Odin's plight that they started sending him well-wishes using the hashtag #odinbirthday. More than 5,000 people ended up RSVPing to attend Odin's birthday bash on Facebook.

Local website PTBO Canada tweeted photos of Odin's party, and from the looks of it, people stayed true to their word and had so much fun that most would feel some strong FOMO right about now.
Although his party is over, the birthday tweets haven't stopped coming in. Happy belated birthday, Odin, the most popular boy on the Internet!
