Lamar Odom, a two-time NBA champion turned reality TV star, is currently "fighting for his life" after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday afternoon, according to multiple reports.

A recent MRI revealed Odom had multiple strokes since being admitted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, and the former NBA star is currently in a coma with his heart failing, according to TMZ.

More recent reports, including one from E!, cite a hospital source saying Odom overdosed on drugs, including crack-cocaine. Odom had previously denied reports of heavy drug use.

Emergency responders first found Odom at a brothel called Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South — called Dennis Hof's Bunny Ranch by police — in Crystal, Nevada, around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and transported him about 20 miles to Desert View Hospital in Pahrump, according to authorities. After he was stabilized, Odom was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Employees reportedly found Odom unconscious with “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth.” Odom also started "throwing up all kinds of stuff" when the 911 operator told employees to turn him on his side, Hof said.

Nye County, Nevada, Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said investigators sought a warrant to obtain a blood sample to determine if Odom suffered a drug or alcohol overdose.

Hof said Odom arrived alone Saturday and "spent time socializing with some of my girls," but wasn't seen taking any illegal drugs. "He was polite and reserved, and he told multiple employees that he was there to get some privacy and spend some time relaxing," Hof's statement said.

"He largely kept to himself, and at no time did he engage in any drug use in the presence of anyone in the house," the owner said, despite previous reports. "He did drink alcohol from our bar, and was taking some herbal sexual enhancement capsules. At his request, he spent Monday evening alone in his suite," the statement continued.

"It's incredibly sad," Hof told The Associated Press in a phone interview. "He just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax."

Hospital officials provided no immediate word on Odom's condition.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and general manager Mitch Kupchak, who were both in Las Vegas for the team's exhibition game, visited Odom in the hospital Tuesday, according to ESPN. Odom played the most seasons with the Lakers during his career, from 2004 to 2011, before leaving the NBA in 2014.

Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, his former wife, also arrived at the hospital yesterday, according to TMZ.

Players from all corners of the league sent their good wishes to Odom on Wednesday.

Odom spent his tenure in the NBA with five different teams, after being drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers as the fourth-overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. He ascended to an even higher level of mainstream fame with his appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians after marrying Khloe Kardashian in 2009. The two divorced in 2013.

That same year, Odom reportedly checked into a rehab facility before abruptly leaving one day later.

Two people who were reportedly Odom's close friends died in June of this year.
