Ohio State Marching Band Pays Foot-Stomping Tribute to Michael Jackson

It's near impossible to top the late Michael Jackson's talent for moon walking. But the Ohio State University Marching Band came close in its incredible tribute to the late King of Pop.

The marching band -- often referred to as "The Best Damn Band in the Land" -- performed this foot-stomping tribute at the Buckeyes' Oct. 19 football game against the University of Iowa. The musical marchers played some of Jackson's greatest hits, including "Bad," "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and "Billie Jean."

The real star of the show, however, is the band's fancy footwork. In its 11-minute performance, the band simulated Jackson's signature moon walk with impeccable coordination. In the halftime show's grand finale, the band even invited the OSU Gospel Voices to join them in performing "Man in the Mirror."

Check out a few of the show's biggest highlights in GIF form.
