You're supposed to sneak out of prison.
But 19-year-old film student Samantha Gardella had an important mission -- to check out the set of Orange is the New Black. After the superfan found out that the show is filmed at the abandoned Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center, she decided to take a trip to Litchfield Penitentiary.

Gardella wrote about visiting the set on Tumblr, and even made her own video tour of the faux prison.
But prison's lonely if you don't form connections. So, after a couple visits, Gardella decided to take Piper, Alex, Flaca and Dayanara along for the ride.

But when her photo series gained traction online, Lionsgate Television got in touch with her about trespassing on the property.
If you were planning on visiting the set, DON'T. I take back my recommendation to go to it. whoopsies pic.twitter.com/DV42tBfb4Q— samantha gardella (@samigardella) July 1, 2015
Thankfully, OITNB's official Twitter account softened the blow by bestowing the ultimate honor on Gardella --making her an honorary inmate.
