OK Go's Umbrella Choreography in New Music Video Won't Let You Down

Not since Rihanna's "Umbrella" in 2007 has the umbrella played such a starring role in a music video.

OK Go, with the help of thousands of extras, showed off some slick umbrella choreography in their one-take video for "I Won't Let You Down." And let us down, OK Go did not. Aerial footage was shot using a drone for a dazzling view of the umbrella dance.

The video, which debuted Monday on the Today show, continues the band's string of inventive visual creations.

In June, OK Go's "The Writing's on the Wall" took viewers on a mind-boggling journey through several optical illusions.

The fresh efforts this year, on songs from the band's Hungry Ghosts album, are the types of eye candy projects fans have grown to expect from OK Go, dating back to the Chicago natives' 2006 treadmill-based dance video for "Here It Goes Again."

We saw similar inventiveness with OK Go's "Needing/Getting" and "All Not Lost."
