Behind the Scenes of OK Go's New Single, 'Writing's On The Wall'

OK Go, the band known for its highly technical and visionary music videos done in one take, released a new single on Tuesday called "Writing's on the Wall."

The band's careful choreography is often even more mesmerizing than its music. Bassist Timothy Nordwind said the video “is all about illusions, perspective and perspective tricks," and that his favorite part is the very last shot, in which the name of the song gets revealed on the walls of the entire warehouse. (Nordwind also shaved half -- yes, half -- of his beard for the video for a special illusion.)

Mashable went behind the scenes of the making of the video and proved that really did film it in just one take.

Nordwind said filming the video in just one take is simultaneously exhilarating and nerve-wracking.

But for Nordwind, the most exciting part is watching the finished product unfold.
