OKCupid has been helping people find their soulmates for eight years. Now, it wants to help people find the ideal roommate too.
Sam Yagan, co-founder and CEO of the popular online dating site, told Social Times that the company is working on a separate website that will allow people to look for housemates using a system that will mirror the one OKCupid uses to search for ideal romantic matches.
The algorithms that the site uses to find perfect couples can be easily tweaked and used to look for compatible roommates, Yagan said.
