A heartbreaking photo of an elderly dog soaking in its (alleged) last car ride was posted to the r/aww subreddit on Nov. 13.
The dog, grayed around the mouth and wrinkled all over, appears to be enjoying its car ride as much as any dog, young or old. The sad but sweet photo was uploaded by Redditor ewhippieyoustink2, although the user has not commented further on the post.
The image elicited sympathy from Redditors, some of whom shared their condolences and their own stories of pet loss.
