Just as I've finished my rant about the awesomeness of iPhone GPS, along comes a cool iPhone application to support my claims.
Let's say you plan to go on a gadget shopping spree. Omnifocus will check where you are and tell you about all the electronics&gadgetry stores nearby. This is great for those non-urgent tasks you keep forgetting. The application enables you to easily enter new tasks: you can enter text, take a picture, or create a voice memo. It also syncs with the Mac OS version of the application, so you don't have to enter the same tasks twice.
This little service is but one example of how ideas can get "unlocked" when you add location to the mix. A where-based task list? What a cool idea! I'm guessing we'll be seeing a lot of these in the coming months.
